Send to FBA Research

Before purchasing products intended for FBA, thorough research is crucial due to the complexities and risks involved. Many customers overlook this step and end up with products that they are unable to ship into Amazon with no backup plan. While we do our best to assist in such cases, prevention is key.

It is ultimately the customer's responsibility to furnish Palletfly with shipping documents. We can facilitate FBA shipments using proper documents within our guidelines. However, it's essential to conduct due diligence and have a backup plan. Take the extra time to avoid complications.

Common Issues to Look Out For:
  • Gated (Restricted) Products: Identify if you are restricted from selling a product on Amazon. Learn more.
  • Amazon Splitting Shipments: Inform us of any split shipment requirements before placing orders to ensure compliance. Accept the shipment promptly to avoid changes. Do not purchase shipping until your order is released to our shipping department.
  • Inventory Limits: Amazon may restrict the amount you can ship in one order, requiring additional shipping from a 3PL or your location.
  • Additional Prep Requirements: Bubble wrap, stickering, and other prep services may not be offered by default. Check the listing and consult with us on the quote email thread for more information.
  • 2D/Transparency Barcodes: Certain brands require sellers to sell products that have 2D/transparency barcodes. Verify if this applies to your product.
  • Hazmat Products: Some items are categorized as hazardous by Amazon and cannot be shipped to their warehouses. You may need to ship these directly to your warehouse and from there to the customer (FBM fulfilment by merchant).
Next Steps:

  • Add the Product to Your Catalog: Ensure compliance with Amazon's listing rules and policies on Seller Central. Add Product to Catalog Guide
  • Initiate an FBA Shipment: Gain insights into split shipments, shipping costs, shipping restrictions, and warnings from Amazon. Initiate FBA Shipment Guide
    • Estimated shipping details will be listed on the product details page if available.
    • Be careful not to finalize a shipment until your order reaches the shipping stage as shipping details may change.
  • Use an FBA Inventory Replenishment Integration: Utilize a third-party integration for creating and saving draft shipments. Explore exclusive offers on our resources page. FBA Inventory Replenishment
